Kirsty has been specialising within Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy since 2001. Her qualifications include: BSc(hons) Physiotherapy from The Robert Gordon University Aberdeen 1996 and a Postgraduate in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Curtin University Perth Western Australia 2000.
She is also a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP); The Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine(ACPSM).
Having worked with variety of sports at local, national and international level that include Hockey, Football and Snowsport both in the UK and New Zealand, Kirsty also worked extensively in private practices in the UK and New Zealand.
She has worked on a contract basis with SIS for a number of years and more recently has been involved in Physiotherapy provision for The West Area Institute of Sport. She became a full time member of the sportscotland institute of sport in May 2007.
Her own sporting interests include mountain biking, running, golf, skiing and snowboarding and generally enjoying the outdoors.
