Wednesday 27 June 2007 at Hampden Park, Glasgow. This is part of our

The psychology of success The centre for confidence and well being in Glasgow is running a new
event, 'The Psychology of Success: A Masterclass on Mindset and
Motivation' with Professor Carol Dweck from the University of Stanford.

Hoy breaks 500m record As Scottish Institute of Sport supported athlete Chris Hoy crossed the
line at the conclusion to Sunday's (13 May) second attempt in under 24 hours
on the world kilometre record. | |
World cup success At the VISA Paralympic World Cup in Manchester (7 - 13 May), Scottish
Institute of Sport supported athlete Aileen McGlynn linked up with
Ellen Hunter to win the tandem sprint final, beating the Australians,
Felicity Johnson and Katie Parker 2-0 in the final. | |

Heather wins in Wales Scottish Institute of Sport supported athlete Heather MacRae added her name to the list of Scottish winners of the Welsh women's open amateur stroke-play golf championship at Newport Golf Club on Sunday (6 May). | |
Burton scoops gold There were some great results from Scottish Institute of Sport
supported athletes at the Moscow Super World Cup Olympic Qualification
event that took place in Russia last weekend (5 - 6 May).

Clark takes bronze Scottish Institute of Sport supported judo player Sarah Clark moved a
step closer to her goal of competing in the next Olympics when she
earned herself some Olympic Qualification points at the World Cup Event
in Denmark (28 April). | |
Shooters make their mark Scottish Institute of Sport rifle shooters Matthew Thomson and Neil
Stirton are two of four Scots named in the ten-strong British team for
the final Rifle & Pistol World Cup of 2007 (29 May - 3 June), which
will be held on the Olympic Ranges in Munich. Both men will compete in
the Men's prone event.
