Scottish Institute of Sport supported athlete Carly Booth, only recently turned 15 and with a handicap of +3, pulled off the biggest win yet of her career in France on Saturday (28 July) when she won the girls' title at the European Young Masters (26 - 28 July)at Golf de Bondues, near Lille.

The Italian job

After a run of games in which Scotland's forwards were somewhat below par with their strike rate, Saturday (28 July) morning's final men's EuroHockey warm-up game against Italy at Peffermill produced an avalanche of goals and a 9-1 victory.
