A dynamic, physical display from Scotland finally ended a seven-year wait for victory over Ireland and strengthened the players' belief that this squad is capable of pulling Scottish rugby back into the world's top eight.

Andrew Hunter claimed swimming's second medal at the World University Games (9 - 14 August) with silver in the 200m Freestyle.

Scotland had to be content with the silver medal in the Four Nations tournament in Poznan after losing to hosts Poland 2-0 in Sunday's (12 August) final.
