Scottish Institute of Sport supported athlete John Gallagher, claimed the biggest win of his career at the weekend (4 August) when he eased to a 4 and 3 victory over Scotland team-mate and fellow Institute supported athlete Keir McNicoll in the 36-hole final at Prestwick.

It was a contrasting weekend (4 - 5 August) for Scotland's men and women as they continued their preparations for the EuroHockey Nations tournaments in five weeks' time.

Scottish Institute of Sport swimmers grabbed three of the five gold medals won by Scottish swimmers on the final day of competition at the ASA Swim 21 National Youth Championships & ASA National Championships (50m) 2007 (27 July - 1 August).
