Craig More

Craig MoreCraig is originally from South Africa, immigrating to Scotland in 1993, where he studied at Glasgow Caledonian University and graduated in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. He is also a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AAACP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM).

His working life began in the NHS, and so far his career has taken him to Scotland, England and New Zealand. His areas of work included private sports clinics, MoD, rugby and professional football. He has been a full time member of staff at the sportscotland institute of sport since 2007.

Within the Institute, Craig is Lead Physiotherapist to Men’s Hockey and Badminton programmes linking closely with and supporting the GB programmes where necessary. He has also supported the Curling programme extensively, covering two world championships and a World Winter University Games. He has also been involved in the set up, development and co-ordination of the Physiotherapy service for the West of Scotland Institute of Sport.

In his spare time, Craig like to relax by doing such activities as snowboarding, mountain biking and golf, as well as watching the odd rugby match when he gets the chance.
