Two Scottish International records were raised on Sunday (26 August) at the Grampian Open & SSRA Grand Prix held at Denwood.

Scottish Institute of Sport supported athletes Sarah Clark, Euan Burton, Michelle Rogers and James Millar competed in their final tournament before the World Championships recently (11 - 12 August) at the German B Tournament in Braunschweig.

At the 2007 Olympic Sailing Test Event in Qingdao (15 - 23 August), the competition ended on a high for Scottish Institute of Sport supported athlete Charlotte Dobson.

It was the final day of competition at the Japan International Swimming Championships in Chiba, bringing to an end a demanding long course season for Scotland's top swimmers.

Scottish Institute of Sport supported swimmer Kris Gilchrist spearheaded a British night to remember on day three (23 August) of the Japan International with a swim that delivered a new Commonwealth and British Record and a silver medal.

Great Britain's track cyclists topped the standings with 11 medals, including nine golds, at the World Para-Cycling Championships in France.

The British Swimming squad were back in action in Chiba, Japan last week (21 August) in what was being billed as the biggest international event of the summer calendar.
