Scottish Institute of Sport supported athlete Campbell Walsh picked up an impressive second place in qualifying for the men's K1 at the Australian Open World Series Event in Penrith (25 - 26 January).

Norwich Union International

Gemma Nicol, Allan Scott and Chris Baillie were the only three Scots in action at the Norwich Union International at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow. However, Scott's impatience to live up to the personal best of 7.52 seconds, set at the same venue, reduced it to two when he was disqualified after causing two false starts.

Scotland stormed in to beat Ukraine 7-4 in their first match at the EuroHockey Nations Indoor Championships in Spain this morning; intense action started with the whistle and goalkeeper Carmin Dow gave a “best ever” performance.
