Scottish Institute of Sport supported shooter Matt Thomson won the men's prone in Dortmund (10 - 16 March), shooting an excellent qualification round of 597 to enter the final in third place.

On Saturday 15 March at the Premier division Canoe Slalom race of the year in Bala, Wales, paddlers competed for qualification points for the Olympics in Beijing later this year.

Scottish Institute of Sport supported badminton player Imogen Bankier and England's Robert Blair couldn't make it two wins in a row over Indonesia's world No.3 pair of Flandy Limpele and Vita Marissa and went out in the second round of the Wilson Swiss Open in Basle (11 - 16 March).
