Paula Jarvie

Paula joined the Institute in December 2007 and in February 2008, became a full time member of the business team providing administrative support to both the curling and the swimming programmes.  Prior to joining the institute, Paula worked as a wedding & events co-ordinator at Dunblane Hydro Hotel.

Paula graduated in June 2000 from Leeds University with a BA (hons) in Psychology & Management. Shortly after this she moved to Aspen, Colorado and enjoyed life to the full for her entire 18 month stay in the USA, working in a 5 star, 5 diamond Relais & Chateaux hotel.

Outwith the Institute, she currently enjoys swimming, running and playing tennis (at a pace where she still can talk!). Paula enjoys walking and spending time with her beautiful dog Ruby. She has a fond interest in Martial Arts and was lucky enough to discover cuong nhu during her time in the USA. She tries diligently (but not always successfully) to uphold the cuong nhu ideal - 'open arms, an open heart & an open mind'.

Paula likes alpine yoghurts, starfish and emerald eyeshadow. If Paula was a crayola crayon, she'd be yellow. Fact.
