Susan Elms joined the Institute as Performance Lifestyle Co-ordinator in 1999 from Edinburgh's Telford College where she was a lecturer in Sports Coaching and Sports Development, then became Head of Performance Lifestyle in February 2007. She holds a degree in Physical Education from Dunfermline College of Physical Education.
The role of Performance Lifestyle is to provide athletes with a balance in lifestyle to enable them to compete at the highest level. This enables athletes to identify their personal strengths and supports them to integrate career, education, lifestyle, and sporting demands so they can be successful now and in their life after sport.
