The British Olympic Association has today (24 June) named the 16 men's and 16 women's athletes who will be representing Team GB for hockey at the summer 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Scottish Institute of Sport supported golfer and last year's SGU Order of Merit winner Callum Macaulay won the Tennant Cup (21 - 22 June), the 72 hole stroke play event played over the Glasgow Gailes and Killermont courses.

Grainger's crew take on the men

The final dress rehearsal for rowing before the Beijing Olympic Games, the third world cup of the season, starts today in Poznan, Poland. However, Scottish Institute of Sport supported athlete Katherine Grainger, Scotland's four-time world champion, and her quadruple sculls crew will not be taking part due to insufficient entries in Grainger's classification for a race to take place in Poznan.
