Tracy Austin joined the Institute temporarily in March 2008 and become a permanent member of staff in June 2008. She worked in Reception providing support for the Operations Manager, Physiotherapy team, Administration team as well as her front of house duties. She then moved on to a finance based position as Acting Finance Officer supporting the Business and Operations Manager which evolved to Acting Business Administration Officer. In this position she is responsible for finance support, building maintenance and is the health and safety officer for the Institute.
Tracy graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2005 with a Caledonian degree in Business and Information Management. During and after this, she worked in hospitality in Glasgow, Ballachulish and Stirling. Then she settled into administration work at RAF Leuchars, near Dundee, creating processes and booking travel for the RAF and civil servants.
Tracy loves to travel and has been to Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, France, Spain, Holland, Cyprus, Malta, South Africa and the UAE. When she isn't country hopping, Tracy likes reading, dancing, socialising, kick-boxing and dabbling in other sports.
