Fiona Mather joined the Institute in 2003, prior to that she worked as a rehabilitation specialist in professional rugby for two years. She has specialised in sports injury rehabilitation since 1997.
Fiona has a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University and a MSc in Physiotherapy from University College London. She is a member of several professional associations which include Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), and Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports medicine.
A specialist in Sports Rehabilitation Science she is responsible for physiotherapy provisions and co-ordination at the Institute.
In her spare time Fiona enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including running, skiing, horse riding, tennis and golf.
