Mathias joined the Institute in November 2004. He rose through the hockey ranks from a young goal keeper in the German National Under 18's team to Great British Olympic hockey assistant coach in Athens this year.

Mathias has the depth and breadth of experience to maximise the potential of the athletes under his watch and deliver high quality coaching to individual Institute players which will establish him as a leading force behind the men's national hockey team.
