Scotland's under 17 squash team, comprising Mhairi Charlton (GIS), Dougie Kempsell (ESIS), Greg Lobban (HIS), Alan McCorquodale (HIS) and Morgan Maguire (WSIS), became the first Scottish Junior team to reach a European Team Championship final.

The under 17’s success follows Scotland’s fifth place, its best result for over 20 years, at the European under-19 Team Championships in Germany.  Earlier this month Scotland’s senior men and women took sixth and ninth respectively at the European Championships in Sweden.
