Allan MacDonald

Allan initially worked as a part time S&C coach in the East of Scotland Institute of Sport before joining the institute as Judo Lead in January 2010. Based at Ratho, outside of Edinburgh, his main role involves delivering S&C support to GB and Institute athletes training with the Judo programme.

Allan moved to Edinburgh from the Highlands in 2003 to attend University, where he originally studied Mechanical Engineering before studying Sport and Exercise Science where he gained his Bsc Hons. Allan’s sporting background is in Judo and spends most of his spare time either watching judo videos or weightlifting.
