Imogen Bankier returns to badminton action this week when she and England's Robert Blair tackle the Yonex German International in Mulheim.
It is the pair's last event before the Yonex All England Championships - the 100th staging of the All England - in Birmingham from March 9-14.
The pair sat out last week's Austrian International but in Mulheim they start with a first-round clash against Dutch pair Dave Khodabux and Samantha Barning.
Glasgow's Emma Mason and Edinburgh’s Jillie Cooper tackle the women's doubles, looking to build on their semi-final effort in the Austrian International in Vienna at the weekend.
The pair beat Ennia Biedermann and Sanya Herzig of Switzerland 21-10 21-16 and then knocked out fourth seeded Russians Tatiana Bibik and Olga Golovanova 21-15 21-10. Next up they defeated Poland's Natalia Pocztowiak and Agnieszka Wojtkowska 21-14 25-23 but in the semi-finals they were beaten by Japan's Naoki Fukuman and Minatsu Mitani 24-22 21-15.
Cooper also partners Chris Langridge in the mixed but Mason and Watson Briggs are forced to qualify.
Briggs and Andrew Bowman also have to qualify in the men's doubles in Mulheim, where they are third qualifying seeds. They are eager to make up for their first-round exit in Vienna.
In Vienna, Bank of Scotland International women's singles champion Susan Egelstaff defeated Victoria Slobodyanuk and Telma Santos in straight games and Perrine Lebuhanic in the quarter-finals 21-19 11-21 21-17 to reach the semi-finals
But the second seed then fell to fourth seed Francisca Ratnasari 21-14 21-14 and the Indonesian went on to beat Petya Nedelcheva in the final. Her Glasgow team-mate Linda Sloan had gone out in the first round 21-18 21-18 against Alesia Zaitsava of Belarus.
Glasgow 20-year-old Kieran Merrilees produced a fine first-round win over seventh seeded Ukraine player Dmytro Zavadsky 21-17 15-21 21-13 and he knocked out Germany's Tan Yuhan 21-13 21-12 in the second round.
But the Glasgow prospect then lost to third seeded Indonesian and eventual winner Andre Kurniawan Tedjono 21-19 21-13.
