Following a crash during last month's National Road Race Championships (27 June) in Lancashire, Scottish cyclist Kate Cullen is back on track...
and in training for the Tour du Limousin in France which begins on 18 August.
Institute supported athlete Cullen received medical treatment at the scene of the crash in June and there were concerns that she had sustained a broken leg.
However, the injury subsequently proved to be severe bruising and she has battled back to fitness in time to line up in a five-strong Scotland team at the Tour du Limousin.
Among her colleagues in the four-day race is Edinburgh RC rider Anne Ewing, Edinburgh's British Masters champion Claire Thomas, Eileen Roe - a colleague of Cullen at Team Moving Ladies in Holland - and Scottish road race champion Jane Barr.
