Colin was initially employed as a contracted adviser from 1998 whilst working as Principal Teacher of Guidance in an Aberdeenshire Secondary School. He was seconded for 2 days every week from this post for 2 years from 2008 before leaving teaching in the Summer of 2010 and taking up a part time ( 4 days a week ) post as Performance Lifestyle Co-ordinator (North).
Hockey & football are his main sporting interests and in addition to being a graded umpire, he still plays for Ellon HC at District League level. He has also coached at Club and District level. On the football front I am a Hearts supporter. Enough said…
Colin is happily married to Jenny with 2 boys who have also been bitten by the hockey bug.
