David Brandie

David initially worked within the Institute network as the Physiotherapy Coordinator for Highland and was appointed to his current post as a full-time Senior Physiotherapist in December 2010.

He trained in Aberdeen and has worked in a variety of posts within the NHS, most recently with NHS Highland as an Extended Scope Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and manager of the Inverness Outpatient Physiotherapy Service.

He is a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, holds a Diploma in Injection Therapy and has completed the NHS Scotland AHP Leadership Programme.

Within sport, David worked for seven years as the Lead Physiotherapist at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC which included their first spell in the Scottish Premier League. He travelled to Singapore as an HQ Physiotherapist with Team GB for the first Youth Olympic Games in 2010 and has also provided Physiotherapy cover to Scottish teams at both Junior & Senior World Curling Championships.

David is married and has three young children, he enjoys cycling and still races from time to time.
