Curlers off to flying start

Scottish Institute of Sport supported curlers took to the ice on Saturday (9 December) to compete in the European Championships in Basel, Switzerland (9 - 16 December) and despite facing travel difficulties both teams got off to a flying start.

Medal success for Balfour

At the European Short Course Championships (7 - 10 December) in Helsinki, Scottish Institute of Sport supported swimmer Kirsty Balfour added a 100m silver on Sunday (10 December) to the gold she won in the 200m on Friday (8 December).
