Here are the results from day three of Olympic competition for the Scots on Team GB

Swimming

Hannah Miley swam in the heat of the 200m IM and swam a time of 2.12.27 which means she made the semi final. She swam a 2:10.89 in her Semi-final, coming second which is enough to make the final tomorrow at 8.43pm.

Robbie Renwick  came 6th in the 200m freestyle final in 1.46.53 which is a new PB! Fantastic result.

Caitlin McClatchey swam in the semi-final of the 200m freestyle in 1.57.33 and came 2nd in her heat, after Italy's Federica Pellegrini. She will swim in the final tomorrow (tuesday 31 July) at 7.41pm.

Judo

Sarah Clark lost her first round match in the -57Kg against French athlete Automne Pavia

Rowing

Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins in the double sculls got a new Olympic record and destroyed the previous mark, set by Germany in Barcelona 20 years ago, by nearly five seconds as they won their heat in 6:44.33. The final is on Friday at 10.30am

Canoeing

In the C2 heats, David Florence (and Richard Hounslow) came 7th in a time of 101.08 which means they have qualified for the semi-finals on Thursday at 1.30pm

Fellow Scot Tim Baillie (and Etienne Stott) also raced in the C2 heats today (Monday 30 July) and came 4th in the heat with a time of 100.44

Tennis

Elena Baltacha played her second round match against Ana Ivanovic from Serbia and lost the match 6-4, 7-6

Gymnastics

Bronze medal for the Men's all-round team featuring Scot on Team GB, Daniel Purvis!

Handball

The women’s team lost to Russia 37-16 and play Brazil on Wednesday (1 Aug) at 4.15pm

Basketball

Team GB Women featuring Rose Anderson, lost 65 -73 Canada. They play Russia on Wednesday 1 Aug at 4.45pm.

Volleyball

GB women won against Algeria 3-2. They play Italy tomorrow (1 Aug) at 4.45pm.
